The Caseificio Gambone presents old origins and is still today a family owned business: the memories of the members of the family date back to the beginning of the 18th century; however, in the 15th century a Marsilio Gambone was known as the bailiff of the Cavaniglia’s Earls and as an expert of the dairyman’s activity.
More recently, it has been his grandfather Stefano (1883-1949) and then his father Orazio (1907-1990) to hand down Ezio Gambone, who is the manager of the present business, the rules and the experience of this old job. Besides Ezio, his wife Gemma and their children Alberino, Stefano and Stefania skillfully respect this job, being attentive to traditions combined with modern technologies.
